These are The Unforgiven's DKP pages. Here we can track our members riad attendance, boss kills, raiding progress along with individual members item and spending history plus the all important Dragon Kill Point (DKP) totals.
For those of you unfamiliar with the system and our own spin on it, DKP is awarded for every 25 man raid boss we kill, the harder the boss, the more the DKP reward. First time kills are awarded double DKP as a bonus for putting in the effort to get a new boss down.
DKP is used to bid on items that drop during our raids. We operate an open bidding system whereby an item will be placed for DKP bidding and then members are free to type their bids in raid chat. When you have reached your maximum bid, state pass if the bidding gets too rich for you to enable the Master Looter to swiftly move on to the next item. Please ensure to keep raid chat free from apsm during bids, it makes it much easier to pick out the winners.
You can only bid with the DKP that you see on these pages, not the DKP earned from current raid boss kills, they will get added and updated at the end of the night. Please be aware of your own DKP pool, the Master Looter and Raid Leaders will be keeping an eye on bidding and if you overbid your DKP pool, expect to get a nice big fine.
Minimum bids for items are currently set at 75 DKP and all new members recieve a 100 DKP opening pool so they can potentially pick up an item in their first raid.
There is currently a priority system in place for bids, Main Spec > Offspec / Alt. Bids are considered main spec unless otherwise indicated, please mark offspec bids with OS.
There is no armor preference priority in place, it comes down to common sense, if an item is BIS for you, make it known to the Master Looter and raid leaders, if that item is of a different armor class than you can use (Warriors wanting Leather etc) then be willing to step aside to the class that it was intended for.
